About

b. 1983 in Carlshamn lives and works in Stockholm and Blekinge

I predominantly work with moving and still images usually deriving from some sort of photographic method. With the base in queer- and photo history/theory, deconstructing and fragmentizing boundaries. Sometimes both physical, social and psychological. Conceptualizing photography also leads to the questioning of what photography is and can be. The importance also lies within the performative act, that foregoes the works.

For me, it´s not important to lock the definition of the pieces into being photographs or anything else. Rather the importance lies in them existing in themselves in the interdisciplinary sphere where I place them. The only reason to define, is to make it readable in the realm of the linguistic structures. For me however the quest is to be in the gap between the performative act and the Symbolic order.

Collecting materials from different spaces, both physical and non physical, placing them together with a ritualistic and intuitive method, in whatever material or non-material, transformational objects and installations occur. Just like on my retina. Closing my eyes. Existing.
